99 Nights in the Forest
About 99 Nights in the Forest
99 Nights in the Forest combines the satisfying loop of an incremental clicker with the tense challenge of a survival game. Your goal is to simply survive for 99 consecutive nights against the encroaching darkness and the demands of the wilderness.
What is it?
This is a unique timer-based clicker where time is your greatest enemy. Each "night" presents unique challenges, requiring specific resources to keep your campfire burning and protect your shelter. It’s a resource management game disguised as a clicker.
How to Play
During the day cycle, you rapidly click to gather essential resources like Wood, Stone, and Berries. You must carefully allocate these resources to upgrade your Shelter (for defense) and your Campfire (for warmth and light). When the night cycle begins, the screen goes dark, your resources slowly drain, and you face randomized "Night Events" that require quick, timed clicks to overcome, or risk losing health.
Key Features
The Night Event System: Face randomized threats like hungry wolves or sudden storms. Successfully clicking through the event earns a bonus; failing results in a penalty to your progress.
Permanent Upgrades: Utilize resources earned from successful 99-night runs to purchase permanent advantages like faster gathering or stronger defenses for all future games.
Procedural Difficulty: Nights become progressively harder, demanding exponential resource output and strategic planning.
Multiple Endings: Reaching Night 99 unlocks a reward, but true mastery is achieving 99 nights under Extreme difficulty, revealing a secret ending.
